Job Description
Pet Counselor
The Pet Counselor is the face of Petland, dedicated to helping customers find the perfect puppy while educating them on responsible puppy ownership. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, assisting with puppy selection, and ensuring the well-being of puppies in the store.
Responsibilities:
- Previous experience working with animals (puppies preferred) is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when handling puppies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
Qualifications:
